Tiny Berlevåg airport is not London Heathrow! It was built by the occupying Nazi forces with the labour of Russian prisoners of war. The town was heavily bombed in 1943-4 by the Russians, and burned to the ground by the retreating Germans. These Dash-8 turboprops are used for local flights like the ones we took.
